Subtitles are far too large and intrusive. Friends and family are furious that subtitles can’t

Literally all other TV and streaming platforms sorted this out long time ago. The only one that didn't seem to be sky which is still stuck in 90s of the last century.

How are the subtitles on Virgin? Their forum seems to have exactly the same complaint about large Teletext-style subtitles: https://community.virginmedia.com/discussions/stream/adjusting-subtitles-font--background/5498951

Subtitles are way to large, is sky going to adjust these or at least give a font editor to reduce the size
