Subtitles are far too large and intrusive. Friends and family are furious that subtitles can’t

Wow I have just got Sky stream today and I see what people mean about the subtitles!!!

They are close to the middle of the screen.

I really hope they do rectify this, its bad enough that we need to use them because of a disability, let alone have the experience of trying to watch something be ruined by this 😞  Certainly does not make viewing a pleasure.

I think I may end up changing my mind and cancelling.

This thread started  in 2020!!! I had actually complained to Sky well before that date too!! Nothing has been done and I unless there's a miracle I think you might rethink staying with Sky.

I rejoined Sky because of a really good offer with Sky Stream and hoping that subtitles would be better.

Nope - I stayed because it was cheaper. Now my offers end, the price goes up, I'm leaving again. Why? The subtitles! They are AWFUL. Watch BBC One on Sky, half the screen is blocked, watch it on BBC iPlayer, its all neat and small tucked away where it doesn't block the content. 

I'm sticking to using Google TV and steaming all content now. At least you can actually CHOOSE how subtitles are shown!
