Re: Jo

  • It was the way subtitles were designed to work in the seventies when Teletext was invented. Modern streaming platforms allow users to configure subtitles, changing font size and in some cases the actual font.

I'm always struck that Sky, which has so many fantastic , modern features "believe in better" hasn't sorted this legacy system. It's like plugging a floppy disk reader into a MacBook.

Re: Jo

As everyone is saying they do not care they have never responded to any request, I was waching a movie yesterday not only did the

subtitels take up nearly a 3rd of the picture they were about 20 seconds behind, I  think there was to much sherry  in their triffle.

Re: Jo

The tech that is available today they do not have to  be that big and in that position when looking at itv x if credits are rolling at the bigining they move the Subtitles to the top of screen, so it is just Sky again can not be bothered. you can not defend them they just do not care.

Subtitles

Sky. For the love of God, please, please, please allow us to change the size, font and position of the subtitles. They are slap bang in the middle of the screen and don't size 300.
