Resize and move subtitles from the middle of the screen on Sky Q

We have Sky Q and need subtitles. On the programmes where they do appear, they are placed right in the middle of the screen, white letters on a black background which makes them very easy to read but obliterates a lot of the picture. On Netflix etc you have the choice to move and resize them but not on Sky Q. So we have a choice either watch the film but can't hear the speech or hear what they are saying but have their faces obliterated. Come on Sky, people have been complaining about this since 2021. How can we move and resize the subbies?

You can't.  Realistically nothing about Q is likely to change in its remaining few years as a platform.

Unfortunately Sky has always lagged behind in such things: it's only relatively recently that its UHD content got subtitles at all.
