I've been having problems with subtitles working on my Q2 box for months now.It happens when I have recorded a tv series,plays the 1st episode with subtitles then they stop on the next episode.I really need the subtitles as my hearing is not great It's really annoying and very frustrating that can't watch my programs.

Yep.
I've had exactly the same problem. One episde will have subtitles then only odd ones after that.

The subtitling has become very awkward. It keeps switching off too. Every time I change channel I have to reactivate subtitling. The result is I'm just not really bothering to watch Sky Q and go straight to Netflix on TV instead.
I'm also getting told that it's "easy" with the voice remote to say "subtitles on" that's very awkward every time you change channel and if you're deaf, voice command systems don't always understand your speech and can be impossible to interact with.
