In the last few weeks have experienced increasing problems with subtitles

Subtitles are turned on via Accessibility, the subtitles are showing English on the ? button.

The program has a S symbol on it and other programs on other channels subtitles are working. But on channel 4 I can't get the subtitles to work tonight. It has also happened on other channels lately. Usually unplugging Sky box corrects this issue but not tonight, but I don't want to keep doing this as it stops all my recordings as well. Why does this seems to be happening more and more?
