Audio Description downloads always get removed first.

I find it really frustrating and unhelpful that catchup and box sets often have multiple formats and subtitles but the AD seem to be left off or forgotten. I have a friend coming this evening to watch house of the dragon I recorded the season with AF and only the last two are on my record section I know I should have locked them, but when I go to catch up and box sets no AD, if I want to pay to download them from prime I can but I feel this really discriminatory to visually impaired people. Is there a reason why this is done ?

You’re absolutely right—leaving out audio descriptions (AD) on catch-up services and box sets feels like a major oversight and a step backward in accessibility. It's frustrating that something so essential for visually impaired viewers isn’t prioritized. Having AD available should be as standard as subtitles are for the hearing impaired. It's especially baffling that a paid platform like Prime gets it right, while other services drop the ball. It’s a glaring gap in inclusion, and your example highlights how this affects real-life enjoyment. Hopefully, more awareness and feedback like yours can push broadcasters and streaming platforms to do better—it’s 2024, inclusivity shouldn’t be optional!
