I've had a bit of a rocky upgrade and now that the dust is settled I needed to confirm a few aspects and raise some queries about my bill. Firstly I spoke to Kev (who I believe is in mobile cancellations) and he was a shining star in terms of discussing my contract, the outcomes of my decisions and providing me with all the information to be confident in my choices. Gold star customer service. Then I had some questions about my delayed provisioning compensation so Kev transferred me to Alex in the broadband technical team and Alex was amazingly helpful, patient when I spoke about the troubles I'd had and also answered all of my questions in terms of timescales and when I should expect to see things reflected in my bill. He was excellent too and really made me confident in Sky as a provider. I just needed to shout them out as star customer service reps who really made me feel like a Gold Star VIP customer. I am a platinum member as was far from happy when my monthly Sky bill went from £125 a month to £148, then the following month was going to be £180. I rang to cancel and the chap I spoke to was about as good as a wet weekend in Cleethorpes. With cuts, got it down to £160. Was told that was it, I can arrange for your box to be collected if suits. I contacted Community Fibre in my area and was pleased with what I heard. I made one last call to Sky as my contract was ending today. I had the pleasure of speaking to a delightful young lady from Glasgow called Saniya. She did her upmost to get me sorted, trawling through various packages and spent around 40 mins assisting me. She came up trumps and I am glad to say, have continued with Sky. Something I didn't think would happen prior to the call. I'm not one for sending complaints or praises but this young lady jumped through hoops, to get me sorted. So credit where credit is due. And she is 100% credit to Sky. Many thanks. Mr. M. Cox. Apologies, I didn't get his name. But I'm having an issue with my ONT for the new broadband. I phoned today (29/07/2024) at 11:08. The person on the phone was so helpful and sorted out the engineer visit while on the phone when I thought this was going to be a long painful process of trying to fix the issue. After being on a 2 and half hour call with Sky on 25/07/24 @Lori was telephone agent number 8, I managed to speak to!!! From the outset she knew exactly what I required to be done and needed. Just like to say thanks to Dan and to SKy for the levels of ownership in getting our Broadband up and running across our house. Dan turned up, as planned on the 22nd and was both informative, polite and super helpful. After he left and the 24hour settling down period still hadnt managed to make it all happen, i reached out to him via e-mail and he responded well out of hours and then took personal responsibility to get it fixed.....which it is!! I have recently experienced problems with my Q box not connecting and or not retaining my router password. Despite several attempts to resolve this including an engineer visit to replace the box, it continued. So today I called again and was connected to Engineer Aziz (in South London, I don't have his family name). I was on the call for over an hour but he patiently worked through various steps until the problem was solved. I'm not technically adept but it seemed to me his level of knowledge was excellent. Additionally, he was clear, friendly and very patient (see above, not technically adept comment). He didn't rush me and talked me through what was required. When it seems these days that customer service can be somewhat lacking Aziz showed how it should be. I hope this feedback reaches him. And that he is valued by Sky, he's a great ambassador of how it should be done.

I just wanted to formally pass on my feedback and appreciation to our Sky Engineer who installed our new equipment. She carefully planned the route of wiring and dish location to ensure it looked the very best and avoided having to drill through render and trail wiring along it too. Ongoing issue from 10th October, I had taken to phoning in daily for an update. Then one wonderful day (29/10/24) I spoke to Gillian she took ownership of our issue and her closing statement was "don't worry Helen you don't have to call every day I will update you everyday" and Gillian was true to her word, I got a text every morning until Openreach had fixed our line. Just wanted to say a huge thank you you Luke the Sky Engineer who visited me on 5th Feb. We had been suffering from a really frustrating broadband issue which had dragged on for weeks. BT Openreach had tried and failed to fix the issue and it was only when Luke came to the house that he really got to the bottom of things. Luke was clearly passionate and skilled and was so open and friendly. He spent time diagnosing the problem and then meticulously worked to fix the problem. I was seriously set on leaving Sky as a customer at the end of my contract (which is now) until I met Luke. The company should be seriously proud to have him as an ambassador and as an engineer visiting customers. He is an absolute diamond, thanks again Luke you're a gentleman and an absolute credit to Sky.

Wanted to post a thanks to ZOE at Sky mobile. I rang this morning to enquire about the delay in getting my iPhone 15 Pro Max and she was very helpul. No due date as yet for the stock to arrive, but her friendly and professional attitude helped to quell the fires of rage, as other providers, including O2 have them in stock for collection over the counter. I appreciate Sky do not hold stock, but to be assured in an email that they will deliver before 18/11/23 seems a little too good to be true.

The process for replacing Sky Q products when the HD has issues is superb! It’s been causing a problem for months (not connecting to the mini box, kept reactivating the network and main box connections, kept trying to update software when it was already done) but was desperately bad over the weekend (couldn't watch recordings, couldn't record or download, couldn't connect to mini box at all). I went through the help pages, reset the HD with no improvements so I requested a new productwhich arrived within 13 hours! Incredible! I thought there was a further issue with my mini box but replacing the main box has fixed things. Thank you!

On Tuesday 8.10.24 I spoke to one of many advisors, due unable to connect the Mini-box & the SQ Box due to network connection, after troubleshooting and unsuccessful an engineer was booked for 17.10.24. I was very upset on hearing having to wait for 9 days , but was told other customers had to wait for upto 3 weeks which I made me question that I should be grateful for just having to wait for a short period. I was also told I could call the next few days to see if there had been a cancellation. I called for the next few days, again told to do troubleshooting , and no chance in date eventually I called on Thursday asking to speak to an advisor to make a complaint and I was told that I could not speak to anyone as there was not a dept and that I should send an email. I called again and spoke to adviser PHN21 and explained my situation and was told I was given the wrong information and she was able to raise a complaint for me ( no 3699161869) The adviser was so helpful that I cannot stress enough how she helped me she even tried to see if there had been any cancellation leading up to my appt. Once again I would like to say a big thank you to the adviser who also rang up to find out how my completion of the job had been. I gave come across many adviser in the 23 years I have been with SKY but this adviser was excellent, I think Sky should employ more adviser like PHN21 . Also the engineer who came on 17.10. 24 by the name of Ricardo was very polite abd helpful . Many thank.s

I spoke to staff member Callum O Connell today in relation to my elderly father, who had contacted sky experiencing hardship and wanting to cancel or reduce the cost of his TV package. He contacted Sky last week and confused by the options ended up with another 2 year contract which I felt was contrary to why he had called and had caused some distress as to how he would manage the ongoing payments. My call today was to complain and was put through to Callum. He was so polite, understanding and solved the issue quickly to our satisfaction, he gave us options that were in my Dads best interests and we ended the call satisfied that he now had the services he needs within a budget he can afford. Callum did a superb job and I would like to say thanks to him, he is an asset to the sky business. I would like to thank our Sky engineer Justin who visited today. He thoroughly investigated the issue that we were having with connectivity and fully explained to me what appeared to be happening. He took the time to draw diagrams of how the system works to highlight the probably cause of the issue. Despite it being the end of the day, I felt that he geniunely wanted to ensure we had a proper solution before he went home. On a personal note, we had an unfortunate encounter with an unpleasant, aggressive neighbour during Justin's visit. (This was not a Sky issue, it just happened at the same time). I would just like to express my gratitude for the concern Justin showed for myself and my son. His support was much appreciated and was above and beyond his role as a Sky engineer. I'd like him to know that the neighbour has now apologised for his behaviour. I hope that Justin and his family have a lovely Christmas. Thank you.

Recently I was unfortunate to of lost my partner to breast cancer. In the ensuring time I had to deal with a lot of services and companies. Sky stood head and shoulders above all. From the star to customer service were quick to.move me to the correct department were the assistant dealt with all of the issues involved with compassion and understanding. Had a lot of trouble trying to cancel my booking for the installation of SkyQ and the engineer visit that was schedule for the 29 Feb 2024. Rang sky a couples of times from the 20 Feb to request the cancellation, was told I would be transferred to the department in charge - each time it was quite a long conversation but it appeared as though the request was not passed on to the department/person in charge of the canceallation. Instead Sky started sending me the equipment via the Roya Mail which I requested it to be returned to Sky. Then the following day I received a call from Openreach wanting to come to install the cable for which I turned down. It was really such a headache until on the 24Feb I rang again, this time a direct line to the customer service - had a good long chat with "Neal" I believe this is his name. It was such a relief to finally get to talk to someone who was willing to help a customer. Neal was a very helpful, patient, kind, understanding person. He took time to explain what I asked and didn't understand. He is really one of a kind - Sky UK I wish you know that you are lucky to have him working for your company I do thank him for his help, patience, kindness & understanding

I would like to send thanks and gratitude to Florence (i may be spelling this wrong) but he is a member of Sky Loyalty team Dublin. I called today at around 140pm and was put through to him as I wanted to cancel my contract as the new price was expensive. Well he changed my mind. From the moment he took my call he was so friendly, polite, professional and charming. He was so helpful and informative. We had some lovely chats while we waited for available quotes for my account to come through and I can say from many years in customer service that Sky are VERY LUCKY to have him on staff. I rang up regarding changing my data allowance on my sim. The first man I spoke to was not in the department I needed but he was really friendly and helpful in connecting me to the correct department. The woman who sorted my SIM was lovely. She found the deal I was after straight away and then found the best deal to suit what I wanted. She was really friendly and we were able to have a laugh while on the phone. 10/10 Thank you!

HI, I have recently upgraded to full fibre with Sky following the end of my previous contract. The internal works to my property carried out by OpenReach went ahead as planned but the installation was halted due to a blockage with the external ducting preventing the cable from being pulled through. Unfortunately OPenReach have failed to turn up 3 times when they have been booked in meaning I have had to contact Sky complaints several times. Peter our sky engineer came out today, 15th February, he was very friendly took the time to talk us through everything he needed to do, made sure we were completely happy and asked us to double check everything was working before he left! Hi folks We had a problem with our apps and mini boxes not working. We were sure the mistake on our package was caused by the call handler thinking we had sky plus not skyq. After 2 weeks of having this problem, the engineers checked everything, a call was made to the call centre in India, and the problem was resolved. The 2 engineers were a credit to sky, polite efficient and friendly, thankyou to all concerned.

I'd like to say thank you to the young lady that dealt with my telephone call on the 26th Sept 2024 approximately 9.00am unfortunately i'm not sure what her name was but she was the most helpful and pleasant person you could ever want to speak to when having a problem. She was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what to do to rectify the problem she even stayed on the phone to make sure an update had been completed and everything was working correctly fantastic well above and beyond what was expected well done to the young lady dealing with the call and well done to sky excellent service

I just want to say a massive thanks to the man that helped me sort out my broadband in my new house. I called around 13.27 and we were on the call for about 25 minutes. My ONT had no lights turns out the person before me took the power cable for it. I can't remember his name cause I'm denser than over mixed sponge. But he had what sounded like a New Zealand accent. He was so friendly and lovely and stayed on the phone with me the whole time while he was sorting it out on his end. Amazing service!

He went above and beyond which is huge kudos considering my nan was flapping and anxious about her new installs and phone line being down. I spoke with a lovely Sky representative yesterday (4/2/25 at 17.17) who's been dealing with some issues I've had with having no Sky got the past 2 weeks. He's got a really nice manner about him, explained everything with me & made a follow up call at the time he said he would. He was super kind & helpful, I just wanted to say a big thank you to him. Would just like to say, I think his name is Horsh, he's a call handler for sky, he was terrific, he went above and beyond for us as long term customers, my dad was extremely impressed with his conduct.
