Sending Thanks on Sky Community is all about giving thanks to Sky Staff who've stood out and gone above and beyond for you.
Simply select Send your Thanks and tell us why you’d like to send your recognition. We’ll then put on our detective hats and track down the staff member using your Community email address. The individual and their manager will then receive your post and a nomination from our internal recognition awards. If we can’t track them down, we’ll reach out via Private Message to gather more information.

A very friendly helpful guy called to my place this ween, his name was Ian and he was a Sky engineer for Cork. He was bang ontime, he was actually a small bit early which really suited me. He called and was very helpful in getting my Sky to work. Vert efficient, very compassionate and very helpful. Even explaining the remote control properly to me. Thanks for sending such a decent man to my house.

I have just been on the phone to Joanna from the Resolutions Team, trying to sort out an issue with our landline. Advisor Violet was brilliant today. We had had a new hub and couldn't connect it to the tv. She talked us through the whole process and was very, very patient while we struggled to get it right. We exchanged our sky Glass back to Sky Q today and, as a result were unable to connect the Sky Q box to the new TV. we contacted Sky and spoke to a Tech Advisor who unfortunately I neglected to get his name. after nearly an hour we we're finally connected. It was such a relief. But the thanks must go to the Tech Guy who assisted me with such patience. He was so calm and knowledgeable about everything I wanted and needed. We have had a few issues getting our new fibre installation to our home, mostly due to miscommunication between Openreach and Sky. Shamise has been amazing, going above and beyond to try and help us get installed. Her friendly manner and efforts were very much appreciated and the Openreach engineer installed our broadband/phone/TV today and we are all up and running! Thanks are also due to Leanne who helped confirm our number ported forward OK and helped with diagnostics on our new connection when one room was too far to get the wifi signal. Wanted to say a huge thanks to Dwayne, Sky engineer, that took care of my mom's broadband issue in Woolwich in just a few minutes. He made himself available when she was free. I have received such great customer service from Jeff at sky over the past few weeks I have called on behalf of my great grandmother to set her up with sky however had a few issues along the way which were out of everyone's control, however Jeff went above and beyond to get it resolved for us he was so friendly always called back when he said he would and in the end set her up with everything she wanted. Hopefully he gets the recognition that he deserves as he's been wonderful.

Hi Over the last two days I have had a problem with sky store Thursday I spoke to your colleague Page who was a very good customer service and very happy to see my problem but we couldn't resolve it and we both decided to give the problem a day to see if would solve itself. Friday I contacted sky store again and luckily enough I got hold of Page again. Page said my problem was with my bank. Cut a story short I phoned sky store again and spoke to your colleague Peter. Well we spoke for a while and he was really happy to spend time with me to sort my problem out. Hello I would like to send a very grateful thanks to the very helpful lady on Tuesday 28th November at approximately 19.45 This lady went out of her way to help us. We are mature citizens and not so quick with technology. My husband had his email shut down and was very distressed. Nothing was to much trouble she went to and fro getting advise and helping us explaining in a way we could understand. Her patience was admirable not only that she was polite and very approachable. The process for replacing Sky Q products when the HD has issues is superb! It’s been causing a problem for months (not connecting to the mini box, kept reactivating the network and main box connections, kept trying to update software when it was already done) but was desperately bad over the weekend (couldn't watch recordings, couldn't record or download, couldn't connect to mini box at all). I went through the help pages, reset the HD with no improvements so I requested a new productwhich arrived within 13 hours! Incredible! I thought there was a further issue with my mini box but replacing the main box has fixed things. Thank you!

I spoke to Sam at 15.14 today to upgrade a handset and as I have no access to mobile account, Sam after spending time and obtaining help go this reolved. 3 and a half years ago I had this problem and spoke to technical staff in the UK and offshore on numerous occasions and tried many workarounds they talked me through, none of which worked and finally issued a complaint which ended up in a black hole and I gave up on the matter. I want to recognise Sam for going above and beyond and to thank him for his time and patience and actually resolving something that no-one else at Sky has ever been able to achieve. He is an asset to your company and has a very polite, professional, welcoming manner.

I have been having difficulties setting up new TV with a second Mini box in my house and despite some really great support from the technical team an engineer was bookedto come yesterdayJuly 17..Jordan arrived promptly and after I had explained the problem he imediately got to work and after about 20 minutes the issue was resolved.He was efficient polite and very confident in what he was doing .I was most impressed and although I am not accustomed to writing reveiws I was soimpressedI felt he needed to be commended for his excellent work Well done Jordan Mary Seymour

Hello I just had a call with an adviser today in the cancellation team as I had a query about a new phone contract with Sky. I was aiming to leave feedback but there was no option at the end of the call. The adviser was extremely helpful and made sure I fully understood the process so I wanted to make that known. The call took place 17/06/2023 and the call ended around 19:00. I think the advisers name was Dave in the cancellation team and he was Scottish but please can you pass on this feedback. He was very understanding and explained everything thoroughly to ensure I understood the process. I was confused about next steps as I wanted to keep my old number but he explained that because I had bought a new sim plan I couldn't transfer my previous plan number as this was also with Sky. He reassured me and managed to find a solution to my issue by cancelling the new sim plan and upgrading my data plan to 20GB whilst continuing to pay the same price. I was hesitant about calling but I'm so happy to have the issue resolved promptly and really appreciated Dave's patience and communication. Thanks

I spoke to Craig in the new sales team, he helped me take out broadband for my mum and found us an excellent package!! Craig's customer service was magnificent and our spirits were lifted throughout the call! many times people comment on negative experiences and as a result I feel that some recognition should be given to Craig and his team as it was a lovely experience and he was empathetic, understanding and actually listened to us.
