Sending Thanks on Sky Community is all about giving thanks to Sky Staff who've stood out and gone above and beyond for you.
Simply select Send your Thanks and tell us why you’d like to send your recognition. We’ll then put on our detective hats and track down the staff member using your Community email address. The individual and their manager will then receive your post and a nomination from our internal recognition awards. If we can’t track them down, we’ll reach out via Private Message to gather more information.

Many thanks for a great experience using the Community Messaging Team. As a Superuser I embarrassingly had an Issue with my own Stream puck that I wasn't able to resolve. At my request my post was escalated for an online chat. The "Sky adviser" who dealt with my issue was very professional and asked all the right questions in a friendly way. Most importantly the issues was resoved quickly (puck needed replacing). I was very impressed. The chat thread didn't mention the advisers name but the origin notification was from @Addie15 . For ease of reference the Chat started at 10:07 and the last post was at 10:51

I would like to thank Jake for his help on 15/5/25. I had called sky as I was re-joining again, and I had not received my new sky box and packaging for my previous one although it said delivered. Jake sorted this straight away for me, offered me an upgrade to join Netflix which I was already paying for, so I saved money, and also credited my account due to the mix up with the deliveries AND made sure I would not be charged for the return of my previous sky box, which I was worried about. Jake was very helpful and made the process quick and easy for me. Great customer service 🙂

Thanks for sorting the problem with my SkyQ which 'died' at around 21:30 for no apparent reason and kept doing the same thing 5 or 10 minutes after I had unplugged the SkyQ box and restarted it etc. etc . until I gave up and left it unplugged and watched Freesat until I went to bed. It was so comforting to know that there were lots of Sky customers throughout the UK who had much the same issue and that I was not alone and with a dead SkyQ box. This lunchtime of course it was back to working normally so I surmise like many other loyal customers that it was yet another dodgy upgrade installed by one of your staff who never learn't the American Services message 'IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT !' Just hope that there's no one at SKY going to start fiddeling again tonight !

I would like to thank sky for the last 3 years of being a sky customer. It has been fantastic with no issues with the equipment at all. Their sky Q service is outstanding, very reliable hardware. So is their broadband. Also would like to say thank you to all the team who have gone above and beyond to help me on every quirey, every phone call that I have made. Also would like to thank sky for securing an agreement with ses, to keep sky Q running until the end of 2029. I really hope they do continue with satellite tv beyond 2029 as the sky Q service is the best on the market. Also I'm not very keen on Sky stream or sky Glass as it relies on the internet. And I love record content, to save and watch later. Also sky Q has more channels to choose from. Also in the event of a broadband outage, you can continue to watch live tv/ recordings on the box. But with sky Stream and sky Glass. Unfortunately if there is a broadband outage you have nothing. So that's why I love and want to stay with sky Q. Thank you Jack

I spoke with Ian on 15/05/2025 just after 10am. I am in the midst of moving home and my wifi box had not been delivered prior to the engineer installation. Ian resolved the issue in under 10 minutes and ensured the box came out via next day delivery. Ian took time out of his shift the next morning to ensure everything had been sorted and the box would be delivered on time. He was pleasant and friendly on the call and clearly had a great understanding of systems and processes. It was only a short call but it meant a lot to me to have someone be patient and understanding on the call with me. Ian showed he is a credit to the company.

After several hours attempting to set up Sky Broadband and speaking to Sky staff in many countries of the world most of whom had no idea of how to help me move my broadband from Now to Sky, I finally found Farhana in Newcastle. She was amazing. She assured me I would not lose my landline number (Most of your staff said I would) and talked me through the process of moving. She also assured me I did not need to buy a tablet to keep the cost of the connection down. This was suggested by a chap in India. He said the broadband would be £25 a month but it would be reduced by £4 a month if I used up unused data to part pay for a tablet. Saving £96 in 2 years on the cost of broadband and contributing to the cost of a tablet which would cost me £2.30 a month for 3 years. Farhana assured me the cost would be £21 a month with no need for a tablet. Farhana told me her manager is Stephen Wearmouth. I feel her service requires acknowledgement. Also, Lindsay had been very helpful. I spoke to her earlier in the day. She was unsure whether or not I could save my landline number and texted me at 6pm to say she had been in a meeting and was advised I could not keep my landline. She really tried to help me. This morning Susan, from Homemove, reassured me I could keep my number. She too tried her hardest to reassure me that the Broadband was set up and the landline safe.
