Exceptional Service from Sky Engineer on July 3rd, 2025 - Installation Visit

Dear Sky Customer Service Team,

 

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by one of your Sky Broadband engineers who visited my property on the afternoon of Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, to complete my broadband installation.

 

While I unfortunately do not recall his name, his professionalism, helpfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond were truly commendable. He attended our property in to finalise the Sky Broadband setup.

 

During his visit, I brought to his attention some significant damage caused to my front wall by a preceding Openreach pre-installation visit. The Sky engineer not only listened empathetically but also offered his professional opinion on the excessive nature of the damage. Crucially, he noticed the poor "repair" attempt by Openreach which had left a hole allowing water ingress. Without hesitation, and despite it being outside his direct remit, he offered to properly re-silicone the hole to ensure it was watertight, which he did expertly after I had cleared the debris. He also took photos of the damage to report internally.

 

His actions were a stark and welcome contrast to the issues we experienced with Openreach. He demonstrated genuine care for our property and went out of his way to assist us, which was greatly appreciated. He is a true credit to Sky, and his dedication to customer satisfaction is exemplary.

 

Please extend my deepest thanks and recognition to this engineer and his manager.
