Departing with sorrow

A couple of weeks ago bt told me my land-line contract had expired and I was charged £50+ monthly. I contacted Sky where I have had tv and broadband for 20 yrs to ask if I could move my land-line to Sky. I was told no but given a reduction on my charges. I tried again a few days later and was told the same Sky could not take charge of my land-line. I contacted BT to see if I could get £50 reduced. To my amazement they gave me tv, broadband, mobile phone, land-line, and housephone cheaper than I am paying Sky so I finished saving £50 per month. An engineer is coming next week to set up fibre broadband, install router etc etc. Thank you to Sky for 20 years service. I was amazed they could not assist with land-line or fibre broadband etc despite me living in Oldham and not a remote island. Even when I cancelled there was no attempt to talk me out of it.
