Virgin media customer - only able to watch sky sports 1 device at a time

As the title says, a virgin media customer whose twins watch sky sports through the website on their laptops. 

 

They've been doing this for numerous years, however, today 7th September they're now getting the message that only one device can access the content at the same time.

 

I'm aware that Sky appear to have done away with the sky app player and it's handled through the website now, but it seems a bit poor that only one device can access it at the same time?

 

Any other Virgin media users having similar issues? What's the official word from sky?

As this is an account related issue then it is Virgin who you will need to speak to about this to see what they say as Sky have no control over this.

Thanks for the response. However, it's on the sky website that this issue arises. One can watch, the other device can't. The other device receives the message saying "one device logged in simultaneously".

And that is why you will have to ask Virgin about this as  it does appear to be an account issue and your account is with Virgin.
