Unable to sign in to sky sports app with sky id

I'm unable to sign in to the Sky Sports app with my Sky ID. I get to a point where it asks me to enter my last name, I then press continue and it tells me 'there was an unexpected error'. I get no further. I want to access the onboards during the F1 races but can't get anywhere near that option because I can't sign in, it's very frustrating. Please can someone help.

Found that you need to download and sign in to Sky Go first off all... works now.
