Trying to sign up to Sky Broadband, keep getting technical difficulties
I used to have a sky subscription but not for years now, but I have the same email and login.
If i try and edit my details in account, or add a new broadband package the website fails with Technical Difficulties please try again. Any ideas?

As you left a number of years ago then you need to make sure you are signed out of this account as it will have been long since closed so you will need to sign up as a new customer setting up a new login (you don't have to use an email address for this as it can be any combination of letters & numbers).
