Title: Sky News App Black Screen on Fire TV Stick 4K (Latest Gen)

Hello,
Since late June 2025, the Sky News app on my Fire TV Stick 4K (latest version) only shows a black screen on launch. I’ve tried clearing the cache, reinstalling, changing HDMI ports, lowering resolution, and rebooting. Nothing works. This seems to affect multiple users based on online reports.

Fire TV Model: Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen)
Fire OS: latest
Sky News App Version: latest

Please confirm if this is a known issue and when a fix will be released. Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem.

Sky News app no longer works on Firestick 4K. It just opens to a black screen. I have tried re-installing the app, clearing cache and data, and fixes recommended by others but nothing works.  Any ideas please?
