Subtitles on Sky Sports app

Does anybody know how to remove subtitles on Sky Sports App? 

There is an option on Sky Go , but not on this app.

I can't find the option either so have you checked via your iPad itself that the option hasn't been turned on. Have a look via Settings > Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning.

Settings checked on iPad. Subtitles are off..Only seem to appear on live feeds. If a watch live sport via Sky Go, you get the subtle option ( top right of picture) , but not through the Sky Sports app.

All I can suggest you do is to email the apps team at Sky and ask them about this, their address is apps@sky.uk

My settings were showing as off but I was still getting subtitles. Toggled the setting on and then off again and the subtitles turned off.

Toggled the setting on and then off again under Settings > Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning worked for me and subtitles turned off.
