Sky sports football app problem

HAVE LOADED SKY SPORTS FOOTBSLL APP ON MY I PHONE FOR YEARS NO PROBLEM BUT NOW CONSTANTLY SAYING ..

....SUBSCRIPTION FAILED  -  FAILED TO SUBSCRIBE STARRED MATCHES  ..RETRY ??  ....

HAVE DELETED AND RELOADED BUT STILL NOT WORKING

Are you a Sky TV customer who subscribes to Sky Sports ?

Yes subscribe to sky sports

Then you need to install the Sky Sports app to watch live sport if you are using a phone or tablet. If using a PC you can install the desktop app by selecting a channel here to watch first:

I have installed both sky sports app and the sky football app and used for many years but in the last week I keep getting failed to subscribe to stared matches messages which are annoying. I can cancel the message and the app works fine but reappears every time a reuse the app

I'm not trying to watch sky sports just looking at their football app for the live scored

I'm also having the same problem on my iPhone. iPhone is updated to latest IOS
