Sky sports app not allowing live tv

I have been waiting over 2 months for someone from Sky support to contact me in relation to a ticket I have raised, as I can no longer watch Sky Sports on the app on my phone.

 

i have tried on my phone, my partner's phone, an iPad and each time it tells me my sky sports subscription isn't linked to my sky account. It previously worked, and then just stopped randomly. If I try and follow the "instructions" for linking them (although I shouldn't have to, as they were linked before) it becomes a repetitive circle with no end point.

Are you able to watch Sky Sports via the Sky Go instead ?

Hello,

 

I was able to, but this evening my sky go app has stopped working as well. 

 

I have two tickets with sky support, one for an issue of remote recording not working on Sky go,  and the second being the fact that the sky sports app doesn't allow me to aatch live sport.

The first ticket was opened over 6 months ago, and I was told I'd receive a call back within a week to get it fixed.. the second ticket I was told the same, not heard from Sky since.

With Sky Go what is happening, are you asked to upgrade ?

 

Have you made any changes to your TV package prior to this issue cropping up ?

When we go on sky go, it just has a spinning wheel when you select a channel. We have tried it both on mobile data and WiFi, and tried turning the app off, the phone off, the iPad off. We haven't changed any packages.
