Sky have no feelings

Anyone else's my sky competitions auto fill with the wrong name? Mine has been autofilling with my fiancées name and she died 6 years ago. I've raised this upsetting issue with sky many times and no one can answer, the last lady promised to fix it months ago but heard nothing since. Very poor and very upsetting! Customer for 15 years and they don't care.

This very issue has been posted on here before and I'm afraid I don't think there has ever been a solution posted.

 

I take it you are the account holder and always have been ?

My fiancée was the initial account holder but I have been for a long time now. Some of the competitions autofill with my name but most don't. I don't go on there anymore as its upsetting to have to delete her name to enter a competition.

 

You'd think it'd be an easy solution but sky don't have one.

Yes it is, they've tried a lot of different things but whoever I speak to just seems to be unable to solve the issue and they give up and I never hear again.

The last lady I spoke to spoke to the apps team with no joy, and highlighted to her seniors that several people have had this issue with no result.

 

They just give up and hide from it instead and pretend there's no issue, I guess to most people it's not that big a deal but in my situation I feel like it is.

One more thing to try if you are ok with this and this is for Sky's messaging team to contact you via a private message bubble on here so to see if they can get this sorted for you. They might not be able to do it themselves but might be able to bring in others to look into it, so are you ok with be contacted via here tomorrow ?

I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.

Hi @caesarome thanks for looking into this for me. Advice from sky was to call and spend more hours on the phone to the sky ID department who I've already spoken to several times.

 

So no solution again unfortunately.

Sorry about that, I am not surprised as this is an issue that has come up multiple times before we peoplexseeing incorrect details but there has never been a soution that has come to light.
