Sky Sports We're really sorry but something went wrong. Please try connecting again.

Hello,

 

I have been having an issue with the sky sport app the past few weeks and nothing i've done seems to be working. I have tried the following:

 

Gone through Task Manager and ended all tasks that could be casing the issue

Uninstalled all apps like Teams, VPN, screen recording software

Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it

No viruses and malware on the machine

Snipping tool not open

Cleared browser cache

Tried a different browser to launch Sky Sports app and nothing has worked

 

Any further help would be great, thank you

I'm a little confused as to what you are using, are you using the desktop app on your PC ?

 

If so does installing the Sky Go app allow you to view the channels ?

I am using the Sky Sports app on my computer, I have it through Virgin and getting that error.

 

I don think I have access to the Sky Go app

As a Virgin customer you wouldn't have access to Sky Go so you would need to contact Virgin about this as we can only help Sky paying customers via here.
