Sky Sports App not working on i pad

The sky sports app won't open on my I pad I have deleted and reinstalled it on 4 occasions but it just closes straight away.   Is there an issue with the app with latest apple I pad upgrades?

Have you checked the App Store to see if you are running the latest version of the app and also that there are no updates for your iPad ?

Go onto mysky app and broadband product settings, then broadband shield. If suitable for your household change the settings to custom and disable shield. Alternatively if not suitable for ages of those in your household have a play around with the other options

Sadly my internet and package is via virgin media so don't have this option
