Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
I didn't have to download it to the TV, it was already installed.

Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
Sorry, I thought you meant that the app was available to download & install as opposed to pre-installed.
Have you logged in and tried to use it like on a laptop?

Yes, seems to work fine. You need to log in using your Sky account.

Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
Thx. Would you be able to check whether the Sky Sports+; streams work sometime?

It's worked every time I've wanted to watch anything.

Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
That's great thanks, as I can't watch Sky Sports+ streams on a PC connected to a TV.
It would great if I could watch Sky Sports+ streams on a modern Android / Google TV.

Re: Watching Rugby League on Sky Sports
I don' think Sky really care about customer satisfaction otherwisw they would not have set up the Sky Sport+ service this way. Like the OP, I simply want to watch every RL game streamed and I want to do it on a large screen (rather than a piddling little phone screen) when others in my family are using the Sky Q box for other programmes. This really sucks that you can only view the linear channels on a PC.

Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
I feel the same, and this situation has been exacerbated by these streams now being available on NOW on a PC (restricted to 720p, 30 fps on a PC - but still very watchable on a large screen).
I can't see why the same architecture as the NOW platform cannot be used to provide sport streams.

Re: Sky Sports App content on PC
Can somebody please clarify as I'm a little confused. The Sky Sports Desktop app for mac/PC. Will this show all the extra streams?
I've just signed up to Sky for 2 years, specifically for the EFL football. If most of the 12:30 kick offs can't be watched on a laptop/desktop I'm afraid that's a deal breaker and I'll be cancelling.

The Sky Sports desktop app for PC/mac does NOT give access to the additional (Sky Sports +) streams.
I've taken a subscription out with NOW, which does include the additional streams, plus the ability to go back up to two hours.
However, on a PC/mac you just get 720p, and no HDR (on both the Sky Sports desktop app and NOW).
