Sky Sports App asking to add an email to sky ID

Just got a new phone and I tried logging on to the sky sports app. As I log in I am met with a screen asking me to 'add an email to Sky ID'. When I put the email used with my sky account it says it’s linked to another account. Anyone encountered this and have a fix/some advice?

All you should usually need to do it to login with the same details that you had used on your previous phone so are you sure you are using the correct login details ?

As this is a linking issue you will have to contact Sky about this as I do believe it is a login issue as the message itself is saying it is already linked which suggests you need to find out what login you should be using.
