Sky News app not working on LG smart TV

Hi for some while I’ve been unable to view Sky News on my LG smart TV

The version offered is 11/05/2022

When I open the app I get regular pop up messages stating “TypeError:failed to fetch” if I click Ok I can see today’s headlines but the pop up reappears within a few seconds.

I cant see Live TV or view the stories behind the headlines. 

I have a good internet connection and can open other apps without any problem.

I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but to no avail. 

My impression is that this problem dates from when your service went down some months ago.

Can anything be done about this please?

The sky news app is total garbage.

I don't know who is writing their code but they are a complete clown.

No other live TV apps have this same problem.

Yes you can uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again but it will just keep happening
