  HI, it's merv60 here, I've had to create a new account so I can post this. Have I been kicked off the forum? I've tried getting on today & I keep getting the following message - see screenshot. I've tried on my laptop, my phone, & my TV with the same results.

@merv1960  This has been raised to Sky staff who may reach out to you (most likely tomorrow).

 

If you log in to your main sky account at sky.com then access the forum can you still get logged in under your old id?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

  I logged into my sky.com account but get the same result - blocked - if I try to access the community forum. Weirdly though, I have created this new account with a new username but have retained my old avatar, not sure how that's happened. 

  Can I ask, what do you mean by this issue has been raised to Sky staff? Is it only me that's been affected or are others experiencing it as well? Also, how will staff reach out to me, will it be email as I won't be able to read any PMs on my old account if I'm still blocked?

@merv1960  They can PM you on your new login.   I don't think they email.

 

There has been a migration of logins to use SSO, thats why it's raised to Sky stafff as it could be that thats caused this issue.

  @GD1  Thanks for your help with this. Could this be anything to do with whatever was going on a couple of days ago during the maintenance to the forum? Also, makes me wonder how they were going to contact me if I hadn't opened a new account, as I can't access my old account I wouldn't be able to read any PM they sent me.

  Ignore what I said about retaining my avatar, it's still there for merv60 but not for merv1960.
