Pointless rewards

I'm apparently a Sky VIP member for 16+ years and all the rewards are in England or unreachable for me or my family. One 1 event on this weeks sky rewards in Ireland and it's something I'm not interested in but lots off rewards for concerts and open air events in England. Waste off 16 years!!!

@amonagle

It's free so I'm not sure how it's a waste of 16 years. I've been with Sky since 2001 and haven't taken advantage of any either (and I'm in the Midlands). Remember Sky can only pass on any promotional offers that come their way.

@amonagle I'm sure there are many who haven't benefitted from the scheme - I'm another. But the introduction of the rewards scheme hasn't made any difference that I can see to the services Sky offers, which is presumably what you signed up for. Think of it as a free extra.

Been with Sky for 33+ years and don't even bother looking at VIP rewards, it does not affect my service in anyway

I'm the same as @Annie+UK , 33 years with Sky and VIP rewards mean nothing to me as they are just a free add-on that apart from the odd free film I get nothing from. I really don't understand why people get so wound up about it.

Re: Pointless rewards

I know it's an added extra but the selling point is you've been with us 16+ years here's VIP rewards for you! But they aren't in my area so really there is no rewards! It doesn't matter to me if I didn't get any extra but don't promote it like I do or at least look into each customer's areas and promote something they can use or just leave it out!

Re: Pointless rewards

I'm not wound up! Just stating there's no point in saying you've been with us 16+ years here's your VIP package and it being no use to me! Rather see a fiver off bill instead as there's nothing in my area I can avail off.! That's all no big deal!
