Went into the store yesterday and the coupon code wouldn't load. Was sent outside by staff  and still no joy so had to leave the freebie.

Everytime I'm lucky enough to get a code complications arise in obtaining the product.

The first time I got a coupon the member of staff told me it wasn't for that particular product when clearly it was showing on my phone. She wouldn't let me have it though.  System needs simplifiying.


You need to read the T&Cs carefully as well as sometimes it's only one size of a particular product that is sold in many sizes.

Yes but when asked for help   in Sainsbury's they advised me that been advised not to accept the coupons at all.Is this correct , anyone else had this problem.

I think that maybe you  shouldconsider the Sainsbury's taste treat offer as more like   a lottery,  as from my own experience  only about  one in every three coupons actually  works no matter how hard I try ( like brightening the phone screen or trying to scan at different angles ) Moreover one you tried it and it not working the offer  become invalid after an hour .Also staff are never able to help with the problem and more  recently I was advised  that they had been advised not to accept the Sky vouchers at all

just to add  the coupon was recognised but a notice came up saying " coupon not accepted , I thought this happened as items costing more than£3.50 apparently require staff authorisation , but the staff member refused to do this saying that Sky coupon were no longer valid

Not sure it is lottery. I've claimed about 80% of the offers and i've never had an issue with the voucher scanning at the self service tills.

I have managed to get all the VIP treats, since the Advice from Mark . Regarding  the self checkouts and The phone .

8 weeks in a row Now.

Before his advice , I never received a sky treat and found the Sainsbury's store staff were very unhelpful , I was about to give up, what with all the embarrassment  of the voucher not working.

Now so far I have had success in the past 8 weeks .
