Hi Sky Community
I'm hoping you can help, because I'm pretty disgusted with the lack of support from customer services! After spending over an hour on the phone and speaking to two different departments , repeating myself clearly and concisely numerous times with various people ( both of whom even tried to sell me Sky Sports rather than solve the problem) the issue still remains unresolved. They promised to call back, they didn't.
Anyway. .
Both my phone and tv app won't load the My Sky App.
The tv My Sky App just shows the intro page telling me the plus points of signing up ( as if I've never been on it before) and the phone shows an "There's an issue, either email address wrong ( it isn't) or old link used ( not that either).
I have
1. Deleted and reinstalled app on phone numerous times.
2. Turned phone off/ on again.
3. Refreshed apps on TV ( going through settings 001).
4. Checked Internet connection ( fine)
5.Soft reset on Sky Q box.
6. Turned box off at mains, then pressed power button.
7. Tried using the QR code on the My Sky intro page.
8. Even tried opening a new account on my phone, but it wouldn't let me as said " You already have an account!". So it obviously acknowledges my existence on some level!
Basically I have tried ALL the steps they suggest online and still no joy.
Apologies for the long diatribe, but would be incredibly grateful for any suggestions or to hear if anyone else encountered this. As I said until 1st Dec 2025, never had problem before.
