Multiple cookie interruptions on Sky sports app

Once inside the Sky sports app, navigating through different pages generates annoying cookie popups each time. Even moving between different results days generates one each time. Surely once is enough. 
And, when viewing videos Sky have allowed lengthy unavoidable advertising videos both at the beginning and the end. The watchdog should get involved.

Nothing done or tried. 

Having chosen/accepted "essential cookies only" once on starting the Sky sports app, why have to repeatedly do it every page within the same app. 

Generally, cookie and privacy popups in UK under GDPR have become massively over intrusive. Everywhere!

That doesn't happen to me so perhaps try uninstalling the app, rebooting your device then installing the app once more to see what happens.

Hey @Johnaf48 
That sounds so frustrating!! Once preferences are set, cookie pop-ups should not reappear with such tenacity. Ads should not be shown right before and immediately after the videos; this is simply oppressive. A truly better experience should be delivered as an outcome of regulatory intervention.
