Mobile phone and internet

My partner's phone wont open apps. It say there is no connection.  Mobile phone company says there is no signal issue.  I have done a connection checker through Sky and all appears to be well,  The hub is working. Does anyone have ideas we can try?

Have you tried connecting to your home Wi-Fi connection to see if these apps will open and if this doesn't work tried rebooting the phone ?
