Missing apps on my smart TV

Hello,

I’ve got an older (but still great) smart TV from around 2016 that works perfectly for most things. The only issue is it doesn’t support some of the newer streaming apps needed to access certain on-demand content (especially niche sports that aren’t broadcast live).

I’ve looked online, but most of the solutions seem overly complicated or unclear. Has anyone found a simple, reliable workaround—something easy to set up without too much technical hassle?

@clive022lloyd  Either upgrade your TV or invest in a firestick, Apple TV Box etc.

If you have Sky Q or Sky Stream then all the major apps are already installed on those devices such as BBC iPlayer, ITV-X, Disney+, Discovery+, Paramount+ etc.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
