I have Paramount+ but cannot login using app on my ipad? Sky not listed under sign in with partner

I have Sky Q and have signed up for Paramount+ through Sky.  Unfortunately, despite being told I can use this on my iPad after downloading the Paramount+ plus app, Sky is not listed under: "Sign in with Partner" or anywhere else.  Can someone please tell me how I login? 

 

I am assuming it is my Sky login details I should use but I sign in with a name and number user name to Sky, not my email address and I wonder if that is the problem since the app clearly wants an email address.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I am not quite in the dinosaur age but not far off, so please be gentle with me.

@Francey have you set up paramount + through your Q box ? 

as per the instructions below

once it is set up you just need download the app to the device you want to watch it on click on login and use the username and password you used when you set it up

Hello,

When I signed up I just followed the steps on Sky.  I shall do what you suggest and see if that works.  Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me; much appreciated.  I shall try your suggestion tomorrow and let you (and everyone else) know how I got on.

Just to confirm I did set up Paramount+ using the method shown in the link you kindly provided.    At the time I had not realised that I would not be able to watch Paramount+ on my other devices using the SkyGo app. 

I therefore downloaded Paramount+ to my laptop and tried to sign in.  Sky are not listed as a partner, only Apple, so I could not use that method.  The other methods require an email address as a login, but I will not show up on their records, particularly as my Sky login is not an email address.  Therefore I need to know how to login to the Paramount+ app as a Sky customer which seems impossible.

 

I think I shall have to contact Paramount+ explain that I signed up through Sky and see if they can help me.

 

However, thank you very much for your suggestion.  Apologies for the delay in replying but I have been a little under the weather.

I have a different  issue. I am getting "sorry we can't do that at the moment" when trying register paramount + via Q box or online via phone.. its like website is down. Anybody encountered rhia and how to navigate past it?

Just tried this and it worked fine for me: when you set up Paramount on your Sky Q box, you have to create a Paramount account with email and password. 

download Paramount app and use those login details to sign into the app. Worked fine for me and had my Sky viewing history in the app.

I have the same issue. Works great on the TV but cannot find out how to get it on my iPad aswell.

You need to download the Paramount plus app on your tablet and then login with the SAME paramount plus credentials you used to login into the paramount plus app on your Sky device.

Thanks Mark. The paramount app doesn't even recognise my email address. I used my Sky Id to keep things simple but it will not pick that up on the iPad

@Inxy Might be worth double checking the email address. If you open paramount plus on your Sky device and go down to settings it should display the email address associated with the account.

 

If that does match and you are seeing the "email not recognised error" id suggest raising it with paramount plus as clearly you must have a paramount plus account for it to work on the Sky device.
