I have sky stream with Netflix basic. Trying to log in to Netflix on iPad but message says email address not recognised as an account holder

If you need to relink your Sky account to another Netflix account, then you need to log out of Netflix on your Sky device. and then contact Netflix support and ask them to unlink your old netflix account from Sky. Once they have done this you can login to Netflix using your correct credentials on your Sky device and it will then link your Sky account to that Netflix account.

You need to be using the Netflix account details to login to the app on your iPad so is this what you are using ?

- The instructions say use your sky sign in and password. I don't have a different Netflix sign in as it is linked through my sky account

Not sure what instructions you are following but the Sky help documentation to link your Sky and Netflix accounts does detail the need to either login to an existing Netflix account or create a new Netflix account to link to. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix

Mmm, when I signed up to sky and tried to sign up to Netflix it strangely picked up what I think is a very old Netflix account I held as the profiles are not current ones I woudl use. Think I'll hace to contact sky or Netflix, but thinking each will refer me to the other!
