I have an active SkySports subscription through Sky. However recently, whenever I go to sign into Sky Sports on my PC via the Website, I get an Access Denied error. I've tried clearing the browser cache, restarting the computer and a different browser, but the issues persists. I have no problem signing in via the Sky Sports app on my phone.
This is the error I get:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://skyid.sky.com/AK_PM_VPATH0/856922/288_Error.html" on this server.

When logging in to Sky Sports i get Acess Denied, I am not using a VPN and I was able to access it last week on the same wifi but the past few days I have not been able to access this or find a solution

You mean exactly the same error message as the original poster? If so the same questions will apply in your case, too.

After couple of attempts I manage to get in. Just to test everything is back to normal I logged out then tried to log back in only to be met with same **bleep** access denied message.

Not abroad, no vpn, sky paying customer,
it seems can get in on phone and iPads but not laptops annoyingly

I have the same issue. Access denied on chrome, edge, firefox. Only have this issue with trying to log into sky on skysports or sky.com. Just downloaded duckduckgo and its working but the issue needs resolving as I can see multiple threads on a google search with people complaining about the same thing. Can you advise what the issue is and how to resovle? All browsing history etc deleted and doesnt fix it.

You mention Chrome which is what I use and I can login with no issues so have you tried disabling any extensions you have installed to see what happens, and if you are using a VPN disable that as well.

Thanks yeh im not using a vpn and have no add-ons working on chrome. I downloaded firefox last week and it worked for me the first time I logged in but then the next time after a restart i got the same error message as i get with edge and chrome.
duckduckgo is still working (only downloaded it today) which is the only way i can post here on this laptop.
Rang sky customer services and they said they cant help. The only thing I can think is the mac address is on a list for some reason.

I am getting a similar error message on my Samsung tablet. The epp works
fine on my old Lenovo tablet and on my phone but not the new tablet. Have checked location settings and don't have vpn. Has anyone figured out how
to resolve this? I am a sky customer with Sky sports package.
