I’ve downloaded a show, will it be deleted from my planner?

In most cases, once you’ve downloaded a show it’ll remain in your planner until you delete it. In some cases, a show will need to be removed from your Sky box for licensing reasons.

To check this, simply go to your planner and highlight a downloaded episode, press 'i', if no date is shown, the show will not be removed from your planner.

If you have Sky Q, you can use the Sky+ app (on your iOS iPhone/iPad or Adroid phone/tablet) to find expiry dates for Box Sets and Catch Up.

Camera Assistant

When you find something you are still watching from Box Sets or Catch Up is about to expire, you can download the remaining episodes to your box. In most cases, you will find you now have more time to watch before the downloads expire. On +HD, you can always find out if the downloads will expire and if so, what date. On Q, you can only tell if the expiration date is 30 days or earlier. So if you don't see an expiration date in Recordings for your downloads to Q, then you have at least 31 days to go.

However, if you have Q and want to know the expiration date of something downloaded, you can ask in the On Demand forum and someone with +HD can tell you as long as what you want to know about is still available to download.
