Now this! This might be a solution. Will give it a shot.

I know it's a different issue but have just noticed the jagged motion / jumping has returned when watching football in UHD / HDR. This was fixed in a previous update but now returned. The quality control of Sky is horrendous. This really would not be tollerated at other companies. I would bet the coding is outsourced which is why the support agents have not got a clue when you ring them about these issues.
Is there really no way to speak to the engineering team about the issues, or at least get an acknowledgement that they are aware of the problems and are actively working on them?

My adaptor arrived yesterday and I'm very pleased to say that this resolved the issues I was having with the Puck's CEC activity messing up all other connections. It's working like a charm.
I don't know if this is because of the adaptor or pure coincidence but for the first time since I've owned the Puck, F1 UHD live seems to have the audio and picture in sync! I'm now getting the same experience on my LG OLED as I am on my Glass TV. Very pleased. Thanks for the heads up.

Brilliant! I should be getting the dongle this week. Shame we have to resort to this though, and there are probably quite a few people out there having the same issue but unaware of what to do or any workarounds.

Sounds very positive. Mine is due for delivery later today. Will test later, fingers crossed.

Exactly. I am irritiated that this was what we had to resort to however I am happy to have the experience I was anticipating when I bought the product!
I am curious how this will play out when Stream standalone goes live this month.

When using the dongle does it mean the TV will not automatically switch to the HDMI input when turning on with the Sky remote?

Correct. The Lindy CEC blocker I suggested as a workaround prevents all CEC communication between the TV and the Puck.
Whats needed is for Sky to fix the CEC problems created by the Puck. Sky do have a long history of CEC problems though.

Yea. It won't automatically turn on the TV and switch to that input. That being said, I use the "Alexa turn on the TV" command from the soundbar anyways and have no issue using the TV remote to change input. Also, if I was watching the Glass puck last, the TV is still on that input when I turn it back on so it just goes.
Annoying to have to make the choice but I'll take that hassle for the picture quality, audio sync and other device experience I was expecting.

If you have "auto lip sync correction" enabled on your other equipment (TV, soundbar), then blocking CEC communication from the Puck may fix lip-sync problems.

Credit to @tarbat , the CEC adapter suggestion works. Thanks for the guidance.
Mine arrived this afternoon. I connected and checked switching between Apple 4K and Sky Puck devices( using LG remote to choose TV inputs) and all Dolby Atmos, UHD settings etc working as expected without having to unplug the Puck.
Annoying that it takes an external device to resolve this, but at ~£11 for the adapter, it's a no-brainer.

Posting to confirm that I also purchased a CEC-Less adaptor from amazon, arrived earlier today and seems to have sorted that particular issue! Personally couldn't care less about using the Puck to turn on my TV etc so all sorted for me. Others may be less pleased by the loss of these features. (although in my case they never worked to begin with so who knows.)
Now if SKY could actually start streaming in even halfwhat decent quality we'd have a device well worth using! Hopefully with the release the Puck as a standalone unit on the horizon we'll see them really knucking down on fixing the bugs with these things,

My Puck arrived today all set up, no issues with my Sonos beam 2 / LGC1, sound working as expected and getting all the relivent sound / mix types 👍
I do seem to have lost Dolby vision on all apps though , only giving me HDR even though TV supports it , native apps on TV all give me the option.
before glass went back am sure the apps got updated to support Dolby vision
**edit , all working fine now with vision as well, think just needed to power recycle after the software update 👍 so just to confirm no issues with the above combination, puck / LGC1 / Sonos beam 2

So got the CEC blocker and all is good on that front. However now I am able to use the Sky Puck again, I've noticed more issues. After using for a little while, the sounds starts to cut in and out, and then the stream repeats itself a few times. Have to change channels to clear it. Honestly, the testing and QA of the firmware is truely terrible. There is no way this is ready for mass deployment.
