SUITS: Why medieval SD and not HD?

Why is the latest series of Suits on an old fashioned SD channel?

For crying out loud it's the 21st century!

Or if it bothers you so badly watch it all in HD on Netflix sans advertisements  or download in HD from Channel 5 catch up which is where you will find Paramount catch up

Because the channel has deemed it fit not to offer a HD channel in the UK.

But Paramount will happily broadcast an HD channel in the USA both cable and satellite.

Suits is available on Catch Up in HD. I just had a look and S07E01 is there now in HD.
