Engineer visit

I have an engineeer visit bookied but was told that I could go on line each day and see if there are any cancellations earlier than my booking to get someone earlier. Cannot find this on the web site, can anyone advsie whereI find this. All I can find is my existing engineer date and time nothing about cancellations.

I'm not sure if this is possible to do this as I have nevr come across this option either, I don't know if you use the MySky app to see if there is anything like this built into the app ?

@Blondie1957 It definitely used to be available as I used it to book my Sky Q installation on an earlier date that was before the redesign of the website.  You needed to go to the Sky.com website log in and I think it was under track my orders. Once there there was an option to to check on appointments available but cannot be sure that's where it was

I want to rearrange my installation date.

Sky support by phone is busy all day.

On the website:

"Available time slots

We’re sorry, but you currently can’t reschedule your engineer online.
Please contact us so that we can help you change your booking."

 

So, how can I rerrange?

Hi, you have probably sorted this now but just in case someone else needs to know, you must download the My Sky app, when opened and logged in on the bottom of the home screen you will see VIP information and to the left you will see Manage Account, tap on Manage your account then if you have an engineer visit it will be displayed on the top of your account screen, if you then tap on this it displays “reschedule your appointment” once you tap on this a calendar opens displaying green dates in which you can reschedule. Please be aware that I have used this a couple of times and the time you will be given is between 8am and 5pm, you are told that the engineer will contact you the day before to confirm a time but this does not happen. So if you reschedule then it’s sitting at home all day waiting I’m afraid. If sky think the contrary happens then message me direct and let me know!l as I can assure you that it doesn’t happen.
