Early termination charge

Been with Sky as long as I can remember, over 2 decades certainly. Recently informed them I was moving to France for about 3 years. They have hit me with ETC of £300. Had a similar situation with BT, who we have our Broadband with. They WAIVED all charges! What a shabby way to treat a loyal customer. I'll remember it when we return to UK.
