want to base emails through thunderbird rather than Edge. All OK but cannot transfer my contacts?

Due to problems with microsoft EDGE been advised to use Thurderbird as a provider for emails. All OK except that my contacts wont transfer over. Any ideas??

I don't think there's a way to migrate contact details into Thunderbird.

Give this a try:

1. In Sky Yahoo Mail, click the Contacts icon
2. Click the More options icon
3. Click Export (CSV) 

Then in Thunderbird there should be an option to import your contacts as a CSV file:

1. Select Tools > Import from the menu in Mozilla Thunderbird.
2. Make sure Address Books is selected.
3. Press Next.
4. Highlight Text file (LDIF,. tab,. ...
5. Press Next.
6. Locate the contacts. csv file you just created in Gmail, and select it.
7. Press Open.
8. Make sure First record contains field names is checked.
