Re: rejection when trying to forward a received mail from sky to another account.
Try generating yourself a 16 digit password from here:
https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email
Then use that to replace your usual password that your email client uses.

Re: rejection when trying to forward a received mail from sky to another account.
Why do I need a 16 bit password. I can forward mails from my other email accounts. I currently use Mozzilla Thunderbird as an e-mail client which already has a 16 bit password.
Regards

All is explained on the link I posted and you only need to use it for this one client. It is Yahoo's way to improve security.

Are you able to send emails to the same recipient? Is it only replies that are failing?

Hi, normal mails are fine. It's just those I try to forward with notifications from another person such as Sky notifications etc..

That may be the problem, by forwarding the "from" address may appear to not be yours.
Is this via an app or through the website?
Edit: I originally read your question as unable to reply, not forward. I should be more careful reading the questions.

Re: rejection when trying to forward a received mail from sky to another account.
As previously mentioned I use the Mozzila client Thunderbird. There are no issues forwardinding from my Gmail mail or my Yandex.com mail accounts also through the same Thunderbird client. It is only trying the same through Sky mail.
Many thanks for your help but I have'nt a solution so far.
Regards

I really must read through the whole thread before replying!
Do you get the same problem if you forward through the webmail? https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email
From memory, when you use Thunderbird with multiple accounts, it sets them up to use the same SMTP server. Is it possible it is trying to use the wrong SMTP server when forwarding?

Re: rejection when trying to forward a received mail from sky to another account.
Not sure about the last comment regarding the server. I retrieve mail with Thunderbird using pop.tool.sky.com. Is that the issue ?

What SMTP server for sending email are you using as the POP one is for collecting emails only.

The error you show is a sending error, which means it's from an SMTP server.
The Sky SMTP server is smtp.tools.sky.com, but I suspect Thunderbird is trying to use the SMTP server for one of your other accounts, which is why it's saying it's not authorised.
Are you definitely able to send from your Sky account using Thunderbird?
The Sky POP server is pop.tools.sky.com
Have you tried forwarding from the webmail? https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email
