images not being included in forwarded emails

When I forward a Sky email to one of my contacts, any images in the original email are not showing in the forwarded email.  The images in the forwarded email are being replaced by blank spaces.

Do they appear if you hit reply and then send them to this contact (by changing the address in the sent bar) or does the same happen ?

I think I've cracked it.   When I forward an email, at the bottom is the SEND button and to the right of  that is a a paperclip and then 'T+' , when I hover the mouse over the 'T+', it shows 'Switch to rich text mode'.  I then click the 'T+' and lots of formatting icons appear.  I then click the dustbin on the far right (to delete the draft), and re-select the email to forward. Hey Presto! the images now appear.

This change seems to apply to all forwarded emails (not just the one I was initially dealing with).
