i keep getting emails to upgrade my sky email account, are these emails genuine.

I pressed upgrade at one time and my sky email was down for a week, do sky send these upgrade emails out.

No, it's a scam designed to get you personal details.  Mark email as spam & delete this and any future emails.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

You probably unwittingly gave away your login details to a scammer. If you haven't already, I'd suggest changing your password.

@Tazz+1959. 

To make sure your email account is safe I would check the following:

 

Login to your online account:

 

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/


Go to Settings > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that you did not setup.

 

Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address

 

And again remove anything here that you did not setup.

 

Then logout and change your password:

https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
