Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou would have been sent an email when you opted into 2FA, on it will have been the recovery code so logout then login with this code.

If you mean the Recovery code, you need to click the link 'can't use verification code' (or similar wording) on the login page, THEN you get the opportunity to enter the Recovery Code.

I do not see a verification link on a login page, I just get email/username and then password. I could try the reset password option but don't really want to if that doesn't work. I have a verification code email with the code but nothing about can't use or a link. BTW I'm using a desktop. This is plain crazy you can't easily opt back out. Help !

Shame it's going to keep asking me every login if I want this 2 way verification. Error no thanks, stop asking me !

Unfortunately it will keep asking.
Sky's implementation of 2FA is a pain in the backside.... You can avoid it by using an email app if it really irks you.
