Have received so many Spam messages that my blocked senders list is full (over 1,000!!)
Have been uable to find out how to empty the file except by doing it per entry which would take far too long

Thanks for the reply but apart from changing my email address I do not know any other method of stopping these spam messages. Am a bit new to this technology!!

If any do end up in your inbox then you select them and then hit the mark as spam option so they are removed to the spam folder.

Personally I find the Yahoo spam filter to be very good and get very little spam in my inbox, it mostly ends up in the spam folder as it should.
If anything does get through just mark it as spam and that will help the filter learn.
This is what Yahoo say about spam:

Thanks for the reply. I use Sky Yahoo for my emails and rely on my Internet Security package to outsort SPAM messages straight into my SPAM from where I block them. But am getting many such messages daily hence my Blocked Senders file is full. I therefore need to clear some out but realise that by so doing I will be freeing up some senders.
Do you know any other method for dealing with as many SPAM messages as I am receiving.
Any guidance will be very greatfully received.

If your internet security package is correctly marking these mails as spam and is putting them in your spam folder then it is doing the right thing so if any are getting in the inbox as well as marking as spam as already suggested can you do anything like this via the internet security package ?
You don't need to block them when they are already in the spam folder as this is how spam systems work as you will not be able to stop them from being sent.

Thanks Caesarome
I understand what you have said and that is what does happen. All SPAM messages go direct to my SPAM Folder and then get blocked. BUT my Blocked Sender file is full (over 1,000 entries).
I do not want to have to delete some individually to create space as this would take ages. What I need is a method of 'block deleting' entries in my Blocked Senders file.
Can anyone sdyuggest how this can be done?

Blocking spam is pointless.
The best you can hope for is they get recognised as such and moved to spam.
