how do I retrieve a deleted email which is no longer in my deleted folder?

Im trying to locate an email from May 2025 which was deleted but no longer in my deleted folder.  Is there any way of retrieving these?  thanks in advance.

No, if it's not in your deleted folder then its gone, deleted permanently.

@jools-safc It is possible to recover deleted emails once deleted from the trash bin, but it does require third party software and/or help from the email provider. It's not an easy task but is possible. Google it for your options.

@jools-safc the only utility I'm aware of to recover lost emails is Yahoo's process here. However, as @GD1 posted, I doubt this will work if you've specifically elected to delete an email, and it has gone from your Deleted folder: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2552.html
