email addresses are no longer automaticlly saved in contacts.

For many years new people that sent me emails would have their email addresses automatically saved in my contacts.  This does not happen any more.   Also when I compose an email , typing in the first letter of their email address used to bring up a list of email addresses starting with that letter, typing in the second letter would reduce the list further.   This does not happen any more,  I now have to open the contacts list and go throught the lot to find their email address , if it is there at all,  new ones are not there until I manually put them in.

Is this something I have to live with or is there a solution ?.     P.

Whilst Sky|Yahoo email does seem to remember the previous received addresses, it doesn't seem to add them to your contact list.

It is still working that way for me, so I suggest trying another browser and see if it makes a difference.

I would really like to have all the addresses that I send emails to  automatically added and saved in my sky/yahoo contacts list, I am using Firefox.  P.

You may like that to happen, but Sky|Yahoo doesn't do that. Sorry.
