Pretty much as the subject heading says, my outlook app on my android phone stopped receiving emails yesterday afternoon.
The phone is Samsung S22 with Android version 12. Both phone and outlook software is up to date with the latest version. And have gone through the various troubleshooting pages (that are rubbish).
Some of the basic things I've tried, alongside the troubleshooting pages.
Each time the emails I had in my inbox from before come back and I can send new emails, but it's not adding any of the newer emails that I've received.
Any help greatly appreciated

And then use this instead of your usual password you use for your Sky email account within the Andriod app ?

Yes, but there is no-where in the app for me to apply the undated password. Even when reinstalling it doesn't ask me for a password.
But don't think its a password issue, as I can still send emails.

Forgot to add, the steps on that link talk about gmail. not outlook app.

Sorry not 100% sure what you mean.
I have completely uninstalled the Outlook mobile app, rebooted and reinstalled then setup using the Sky email address. as if its the first time. but didn't ask me for a password.

If you are re-adding the account, it is surprising that the previous emails are coming back.

It shouldn't ask for a password as such, but it should ask you to log in to your Sky email account,

I know, I'm just as surprised, I would expect an all or nothing result, but I can only say what I see in front of me. When setting up the account again outlook is showing no existing accounts as this is the only email account I use on outlook (gmail is on the gmail app).
When asked for a password I've tried the standard password I used if logging on via the web portal, and other one it asks about creating. only the standard one creates any results.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt is a very strange problem, Outlook is usually very easy to setup as it's OAuth compatible.
Have you tried adding your Sky email address to the Gmail app? For that you will to set it up as other (not Yahoo, or you will get a 404 error) and use a generataed password.

Hi, the same thing has happened to me but not working in outlook iOS app, working fine in Apple mail app. Was working up to Wednesday evening but nothing since. Tried all the options I can think of. Didn't change anything before it stopped working.
