Sky yahoo emails not being received for last two days directly after a passkey was set up on my acc

The last email I received on my Sky Yahoo email account was at 12.40 on Friday 21st Feb. I have since discovered that a passkey was set up on my account at 12.44 - so I suspect that I have been hacked and that my emails are being diverted. I have changed my password. and deleted the passkey.

I can send emails from my account and they are being received. I have sent emails to my Sky Yahoo email account and they havent been received.

Any help gratefully received.

@mikej999

You either need to be using a laptop or PC or if using a mobile make sure it is in desktop mode so give this a try:

Login to your online account:

https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email/

Go to Settings (the screw icon on the right hand side) > More Settings > Filters and remove anything that you did not setup.

Then go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes > Your email address > Reply-to address

And again remove anything here that you did not setup.

If you have had to make then logout and change your password:

You might want to give some thought to setting up two step verification as per this:

Thanks you for your response Cesarome. I have already done those things you kindly suggest but no improvement - still not receiving my emails - any other ideas gratefully received.

Can you explain what you mean by a passkey, and how you deleted it?

Try using the search facility on the Sky email page, looking for a emai you would have expected to recieve, and see if you can find where the email are being diverted to.

Re: Sky yahoo emails not being received for last two days directly after a passkey was set up on my

Hi Jayach

Thank you for your response - a Passkey as far as I understand it is a code which is used instead of a user name and password to make authentication easier. I found out that a passkey had been set up by looking at "Recent activity" on my Yahoo account. It state dthat a passkey had been set up at 12.44 on 21/2 (Friday) - 4 minutes after my last email was received into my Inbox. - seems a bit of a coincidence

It does indeed, however I've never heard of passkeys being used on Sky email accounts. The closest  thing I can think of is generated passwords, but Sky removed our ability to administer them, which is why I asked how you removed it.

Could you show us a link to the page you got that info from, or was it this one?

https://login.yahoo.com/myaccount/activity/

Did you try searching from the mail page to see if you could find the missing emails?
